Game of the week – Wilson @ Newfane on Tuesday, January 4th
– A pair of small schools ranked in the top five in WNY that just happen to be bitter league rivals. This is the first time in the history of this rivalry that both schools were ranked this high prior to the game. The winner of this game gains the early edge in the quest for the Niagara-Orleans league title. Not too many high school basketball games sell out, but when these two team meet, that's usually what happens.
