Game of the Week – East @ Riverside on Monday, January 31st

– This one will impact both the seedings in Class A2 and the league race in Division I of the Yale Cup.  With the emergence of Bennett as a contender, every game is that much more critical in the city's large school league.   The Panthers are tied with McKinley for first place in league and need a win to maintain that standing for the rematch with the Macks on Thursday.  After a losing a pair of games two weeks ago and falling out of the Buffalo News large school poll because of it, Riverside needs this win to avoid falling into third place in the Yale Cup Division I.  The Panthers and Frontiers both feel they're primed for a run.  The two schools are evenly matched, like to push the tempo, and have played some thrillers in the past.
