On Saturday, September 8, 2012, a benefit will held for St. Joe's assistant coach Tim Dyrek.  The former long-time coach at Cardinal O'Hara has been experiencing difficulty walking, along with other complications, due to a degenerative disorder in his foot.  To help with medical expenses that have mounted, some of his former players at O'Hara have taken the lead in organizing this benefit for him.

The Kenmore Knights of Columbus (1530 Kenmore Ave., Buffalo 14217) will host Saturday's event at 7 pm, featuring food, drink, and prizes for a $30 donation.  For those unable to attend, but wishing to make a donation, a check payable to "Friends of Coach Dyrek" should be mailed to:
