The tenth state rankings of the season have been released by the NYSSWA.  Below are the WNY teams that made the cut:

 

Class AA

Jamestown #24

 

Class A

Canisius #2

 

Class B

Olean #6

East #7

 

Class C

Middle College #8

Barker #10

 

Class D

Sherman #4

 

**According to the rankings:

– Jamestown will get a rematch with Greece Athena, who beat the  Red Raiders by 20 at their place, in the regionals.

– Scotia-Glenville of Section II is the only Class A team ranked ahead of Canisius in the state.

– The Olean/East winner will lose to Section V's Livonia in the regionals. Hahahahaha.

– Despite finishing its season with an 11-6 record after losing to Alden on Wednesday night, Lafayette received an Honorable Mention form the state in Class B for having a "14-4" record. 

– Stony Brook is the only thing separating Middle College & Barker at the state level.
