Middle College #10

Tapestry #15

 Class D

Panama #15

Franklinville #16

** According to the rankings…

– Canisius beats NYS Class A #1 Park on the road, which means…John Bowne is #1???  What were we really expecting, something that made sense?  Park has been at #1 all season, and Canisius, who is the defending Fed Champ in Class A and still hasn't lost to a team from this state, only gets to #2.  Players at John Bowne of the PSAL should direct thank you letters 1180 Delaware Avenue.

– Niagara Falls surviving the Grand Island scare last week was enough to get the state rankings to say "You belong in our top 25, not many teams from AA would have pulled that one out", as the Wolverines return to the rankings for the first time since December 15th.

– Middle College hammered South Park by 20+ and completed the sweep of East, but lost to a team from PA, so they fell two spots in NYS Class C.  If I thought anyone making that decision knew anything (like even the school's name) about the team that beat Middle College over MLK weekend, I might be alright with it.

– The state rankings panel did not like Cleveland Hill's loss to Cardinal O'Hara, and dropped them from the Class C rankings after a one-week cameo.

– Walsh & Health Sciences both moved up two spots in the Class B rankings, while St. Mary's slipped two spots.

– Park slipped two spots to #3 in NYS Class A, while Amherst moved up two spots.  Williamsville South jumped up five places, while McKinley jumped up four spots.

– Tapestry stayed at #15 in NYS Class C after losing badly to Health Sciences last week.  This makes perfect state rankings sense, as the same Thunderhawks fell five spots a couple of weeks ago for winning.  As always, brilliant!
