** According to the rankings…

– Great news out of Class AA.  Just kidding, still no teams ranked.  Rochester has two of the top four ranked public schools in NYS though – Fairport & UPrep.

– Williamsville South is once again the highest ranked Class A team from our area in NYS, following Park's loss at St. Francis.

– The Red Raiders moved up three spots to #10, while Park dropped down four spots to #11 in NYS Class A, following Friday night's results.

– Olean makes its debut in the Class A state rankings at #23, following a win over Timon on Saturday.  The Tigers slip from #20 to #24.

– Amherst won, but slid back from #24 to #25 in NYS Class A, presumably to make room for Olean.  That makes the Huskies the highest ranked team in the state from Class A2 in Section VI.

– The rough stretch for Middle College where they lost three of four caused them to be bounced from the NYS Class B rankings.

– East is back ahead of Chautauqua Lake at #11 in NYS Class C.  The Thunderbirds were all the way up to #3, but fall to #13 after losing to Dunkirk.

– Randolph took a nice bump in NYS Class C, from #25 to #18 this week.

– Franklinville & Ellicottville trade order in NYS Class D after the Panthers picked up a win over the Eagles last week.
