With high school basketball right around the corner, it's once again almost time for tip-off tournaments, classics, challenges, and all-day showcases that drive the early portion of every season.  Once you get past the New Year, league action really heats up and gets fans thinking about the playoffs and all those postseason-type matchups to come.  Fortunately, there's an annual event just ahead of the win-or-go home madness that features those playoff-type battles between some of the area's top squads to set the tone for late February & March.
