During high school basketball season, I become quite the connoisseur of pizza, because almost every concession stand has it. For my money, the best school to get good pizza at is Canisius, hands down. Not only is it from Mister Pizza, but it is constantly delivered fresh throughout the games. Pay attention Buffalo State!
Almost every dunk you see at a high school game happens when a player is alone on a breakaway. Everytime I-Prep's Kadeem Hillman dunks, it's over a defender.
Niagara Wheatfield's Jake Hughes has 12 double-doubles in 12 games this season. Against Kenmore East, Hughes scored 26 points and grabbed 20 rebounds.

Although perennial power Olean will be dethroned as league champs this year and may very well be absent from Buffalo State for the first time in years, the future looks very bright. Schmidt is the son of St. Bonaventure head coach Mark Scmidt and Eckstrom, the team's center, is a transfer from Bradford.

A pair of top ten large schools, Williamsville South and St. Joe's, have each been without a player all season who has been with the team since their sophomore year. Aaron Adams will return to the lineup tonight for the Billies, while Tom Escott hopes to be back very soon for the Marauders.
JJ Harrington of Lancaster scored 21 points to go with 18 rebounds in a win over Orchard Park. Wilson's Tyler Truesdell scored 22 points, grabbed 17 boards, and had six steals in a win against CSAT. Niagara Gazette writer, Ryan Nagelhout, did a story on Truesdell and the Wilson/Newfane rivalry game tonight.
