9. The timing
The regular season is almost over, so this is the final event before teams start getting eliminated in the postseason. The Centercourt Classic provides playoff-caliber matchups in a great environment 0ver a weekend with no NFL football to watch and nothing else going on. It’s like the Good Lord created this weekend for HS Hoops fans!
8. It’s the best event of the Regular Season
It’s got 8 of the Top 10 Large Schools, 2 of the Top 3 Small Schools, and 5 defending sectional champions
7. The best program
Upon entry, you will find a QR code to scan. This will provide an amazing commemorative program, complete with every teams roster, and results from the season. It’s first class all the way.
6. The Experience
Music is played during all game stoppages. Hot pizza and other refreshments are always available during the Classic. Game MVPs are awarded to one player from each team, following the game courtesy of Tony Martin Awards on Harlem Rd. Shirts and pizza are provided to all players courtesy of Empire Electric. Atmosphere is always exciting because the best teams, coaches, & players show up to compete!
5. Watch the best player in WNY this season
You will get to watch the 2026 CC MVP (WNY’s Player of the Year). Every single Centercourt Classic has featured the eventual Player of the Year, and this season will be no exception.
4. Session 1 – Getting the party started
The Ken West Blue Devils make the short drive to 845 Kenmore Ave to take on the first school to ever host a CC Classic, defending Section VI Class A champion Will South as the home crowd fills in for the night cap featuring their Marauders from St. Joe’s hosting Orchard Park. It will be the only time this season OP takes on a team from the MMA.

3. Session 2 – A triple header of juicy matchups
You get 3 of the best teams in Niagara County (Falls, Lew-Port, & Wilson) and 2 of the Top 3 small schools, and a battle of the 2 best big men in WNY (Akron’s Derren Brooks & St. Mary’s Will Szablewski)
