– Dane Brown scored a career-high 37 points on his way to surpassing 1,000 career points in a 76-49 win for Grand Island over Lew-Port. Brown reached the milestone with a 3-pointer, 1 of 7 bombs he sank in the game.
– Just 12 days after achieving a career-high of 39 points, Holland sophomore Jude Gerbec topped his own mark, filling it up for a new career-high 42 points in a 66-31 win against Cleveland Hill.
– Tre Paulfrey popped off for a new career-high 40 points on senior night at Nichols in an 85-67 victory over Park.
– Tyree Johnson banged a 3-pointer with 7 seconds left to lift South Park to victory at McKinley, earning the Sparks a season sweep over the Macks for the first time in 6 seasons.
– Panama senior Michael Horton erupted for a career-high 47 pts and 7 steals in a 74-48 victory over Pine Valley.
– Aidan Neumann dropped 32 points on Barker in Wilson’s 76-44 win on Tuesday.
– Kobe Genco buried 8 more 3-pointers in Eden’s 56-43 win over Cleveland Hill, the 4th time this season Genco has made 8 or more bombs in a game.
– North Tonawanda’s win against Grand Island on Tuesday was the first local loss of the season for the Vikings, which came one day shy of a calendar year to the date GI lost its only regular season game in 2025.
– William Duliba finished with 30 pts in Forestville’s 63-27 win over Pine Valley.
– Sherman’s Jacob Ferranto went for 26 & 15 boards in a big win over Clymer and followed that up with 20 points & 16 rebounds the following night against Chautauqua Lake. The Wildcats are now 12-1 on the season.
– Orchard Park raced out to a 57-18 lead at halftime in a win over Clarence.
– Kasey Wheat scored a career-high 26 points in Newfane’s loss to Akron.
– Grant Beadle grabbed another 21 rebounds in Westfield’s 70-28 win against Brocton.
– Prior to the Jamestown vs Nichols game at the Centercourt Classic, the event had reached capacity. There was an ‘And 1’ situation during the game where after the player made the bonus free throw, nobody moved as the officials were about to award a 2nd free throw toss. Jamestown coach Billy Miley began loudly repeating “the basket was good” until the officials heard him and as they came together to discuss the situation, Miley yelled “they’re turning people away and no one saw it go?” After a quick deliberation, the officials got it right and it was a traditional three-point play.
– Nichols entered the Centercourt Classic with an 0-5 record in the event and got down by 18 points at halftime, before coming all the way back to beat Jamestown, 65-61, to get off the classic schneid.
– During the closing moments of the win by Nichols, the possession after taking the lead resulted in a defensive stop that gave the Vikings possession back. In a moment of elation, head coach Matt Hartman turned and started throwing a combination of body punches at assistant coach Jerrell Thompson, who fell back into his chair while laughing in celebration.
– Will Szablewski took the battle of the big men when St. Mary’s took down Akron 83-59 at the Centercourt Classic. The senior scored 27 points with 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, & 2 blocks.
– Harlem Brannon was one rebound shy of a triple-double in Ken West’s 63-47 win over Williamsville South at the Centercourt Classic. Brannon finished with 23 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds, & 5 steals, earning Game MVP honors.
– Amir Moye went for 29 points in Health Sciences’ 70-49 victory over Canisius at the Centercourt Classic two nights after scoring 30 points in a 110-27 decimation of Hutch Tech.
– MST junior Brandon Singletary scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and earned 7 steals in an 80-37 win over Buffalo Culinary.
– Justus Kleitz followed up a 34 point, 9 steal outing in a 69-32 win against Lackawanna with 42 points & 13 assists as Iroquois took firm control of ECIC III with a 103-76 victory over Lake Shore.
– Williamsville North junior Greyson Goehle splashed 7 treys in a 72-45 vicory over Williamsville East.
– McKinley freshman Carmarii Staples earned a triple-double in a victory over East, scoring 18 points with 12 assists & 10 steals.
