   Ilovethisgame I love your idea. If anyone remembers around 2006 when the manager for I think Greece Athena, anyways one of the rochester teams, got into a playoff game and sank SIX three pointers. They called him J-Mac i think and he had autism. The video was all over the place, including ESPN and the World news. Their playoff run eventually ended, as did J-macs, but as much as he enjoyed what he did, he kind of inspired the rest of the country. Mike Esposito, the girls coach at NFalls still is in contact with J-mac, and I wonder if he wouldn’t be the perfect representative for the kind of program you have in mind Game. Again, I think its an excellent idea, and something I look forward to seeing put in place next year

   im glad i have at least your support.these are great places to chat about our great hoops programs and alot of people who are connected to them or to the sport in general.i mean we could have a mock tip off pryor to the games for those who are picked or maybe a seat behind the bench….and as a momento the school who each kid is seated behind surely have school shirts the could let the lids wear and keep…and possibly slip a jersey over top for the mock tipoff or even let them bring the ball out to the official to actually start the game and im positive the crowd would react in kind.im willing to make up a list of possibilities from how to get a tshirt from each school like “GANG GREEN” as an example and im telling you something so doable with little distraction would be with the child for a lifetime.as a disabled person i can move about on my own”for now” but i would be willing to put together a “game plan” to this project and would just like to hear from a few of the top posters or leaders hear that they maybe support my idea and i would be happy to put something together for some of our high profile perple here with the means to get the word out and have it be a standing tradition to kickoff the playoffs for area teams and maybe even have smaller versions for schools to do at home games or anytime during the season….i would like to do this as i was so very inspired after the game my son played in at Albion and the look on that young mans face will be forever imbedded in my mind….i think we could all find something to do to help.I KNOW MIG COULD USE SOME OF HIS RESOURCES TO HELP AS I KNOW FEEL IT IS MY CALLING TO DO SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAVE NOT MUCH MORE THAN TIME AND CARING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AS IM SURE SCHOOLS WOULD DONATE THE T-SHIRT FOR THE GAME OR GAMES IN WHICH THIS EVENT COULD TAKE PLACE…….IT WOULD BE 5 MINUTES OF SPOTLIGHT THAT WOULD SHINE IN ONES MIND FOREVER…PLEASE REPLY IF I GO AHEAD SOME OF YOU HEAVY HITTERS WOULD BE ALL IN.i will submit my idea and a name if i see interest as it seems to be in my heart to make it happen….someone else join me and tell me its not a bad idea and we can plan for something next year and possibly for all sports boys and girls…maybe CC will give me a spot or thread to let me further gather support and let me nail this thing into reality,because i have a feeling in my heart this can happen along with the good people these sports bring…thanks Ken Sears…aka…ilovethisgame.
